FAQ

When should I arrive in France?

If you would like to attend all the wedding weekend events, we suggest you arrive by Friday, or Saturday morning at the latest. Besides that, you are free to schedule travel whenever it is most convenient for you!

Have you booked hotel room blocks?

Yes, we are working with the hotel Mama Shelter Paris East (link) to book accommodations for everyone. Please fill out the hotel form so that we can be sure to set aside the right room for you!

How do I get there? Is there transportation?

Making things easy as possible for everyone is top of mind for us! We are currently working on arranging a shuttle for all guests to take them from the hotel in Paris to the Chateau and back. If you have questions about getting to the hotel/Paris from the airport, please make sure to check out the Accommodations and Travel page for different options.

What is the dress code?

Formal/Black Tie Optional.
For the women: Floor length gowns, an elegant midi-length dress, or a dressy pantsuit.
For the men: Dark suits. A tuxedo is not required, but still appropriate for the occasion if you wish to break it out! Helpful sites:

Is the wedding inside or outside?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, while the reception will be held inside the Chateau. Please note, there is mixed terrain outside the Chateau (grass and gravel) - flats, wedges, and block heels encouraged!

What kind of weather should we expect?

Temperatures in late September/early October tend to be in the mid-60's (18-19C), with possible highs in the low 70s (around 21C). Lows will probably get down into the 50's (around 11C). Fingers crossed for a dry day!

Is parking available?

If you plan on driving to the event, then there is room for cars to park under the trees on the grass. There is room for 160 vehicles, so you don't have to worry about searching for a space.

Are kids allowed?

Yes.

I don't know the area well, what is there to do?

We encourage everyone to explore Paris and beyond! More details to come.

How can I RSVP?

Nothing would make us happier than having you celebrate with us! You may either RSVP using the card provided in our formal invitation (check your mailbox soon!) or use our digital form on the website.

What if I can't make it?

We completely understand. Please get in touch with us, as there will be alternative ways to celebrate for those who can't travel abroad.

Do you have a registry?

We want to make sure everyone knows that your presence is our present. Should you still wish to give a gift, we have included a page for the registry and honeyfund.

How are you addressing health and safety?

For the health of all of our guests, we request that you do not attend if you are feeling unwell or have recently had COVID-19 exposure. Vaccinations strongly encouraged.
